Smash the City settings: compare the sliders
The creator mentions blast size, missile count and storm duration. Test one available slider at a time and compare the effect using your own runs.
Smash the City settings mentioned by the creator
The description gives three examples of adjustable effects. It does not say that every weapon exposes every control, so use the actual labels and values shown with your selection.
| Setting | Creator-described change | What to record |
|---|---|---|
| Blast size | Bigger blasts | Displayed value, target visibility, progress and elapsed time |
| Missile count | More missiles | Displayed value, net Coins and the full time window |
| Storm duration | Longer storms | Displayed value and total time including the ongoing effect |
The observation column is our testing suggestion. It is not a damage formula, a promised farming improvement or a statement about slider prices. For the named equipment examples, read the weapons guide.
Compare one slider without changing the whole run
- Choose one available weapon and one map. Note the starting destruction progress and whether friends are playing.
- Record the displayed slider values before changing anything.
- Run a repeatable time window and note your starting and ending Coin balances.
- Change one slider while leaving the other choices steady.
- Repeat under similar starting conditions, including aiming, waiting and cleanup in the timer.
- Repeat close results before choosing a setting from the measurements.
If both the weapon and the map changed, the result describes the two sessions rather than the effect of one slider. A busy group run is also different from solo practice. Keep those differences in the notes instead of explaining every change in Coin gain as a settings effect.
Setting every slider to the maximum is a possible test, not an automatic recommendation. Choose a setting that serves your goal and still lets you follow the remaining targets.
A small run log makes the result useful
For each run, record the map label, weapon, displayed settings, starting progress, elapsed minutes, net Coins, device and player activity. A plain note is enough; you do not need account access or an external tool.
Worked example: one run earns 900 Coins in 3 minutes, while another earns 1,000 in 4 minutes. The measured rates are 300 and 250 Coins per minute. The larger total belongs to the slower rate. These are example inputs, not observed Smash the City payouts.
Use the run comparison calculator for your own numbers. Keep purchases and code claims outside the measurement window so that the balance difference reflects the run you are comparing. For a destruction goal, compare time to the same checkpoint instead of only Coins.
Keep mobile comparisons readable
On a phone, note whether you can still see your target, read the progress meter and follow the result while an effect is active. If visibility becomes difficult, compare another value using the same device and session conditions.
This is a practical visibility check, not a graphics benchmark or a promise to fix lag. If joining or performance problems appear, record the error or symptom separately from your equipment notes. Device, connection and other player activity can change alongside a setting.
For broader first-session planning, return to the beginner guide. For equipment decisions, keep the same settings when using the weapon comparison method.
Choose settings for a specific goal
Use the Smash the City settings that help your current task: a clearer view of targets, a repeatable destruction checkpoint or a measured Coin rate. Keep the run log so you can retest when the map, weapon or available controls change.
A result from one run is evidence about that session. Read the short answer on maximum sliders when you need the method again, then compare the values actually available in your game.

Questions, answered
What slider settings does the creator describe?
The Roblox description mentions bigger blasts, more missiles and longer storms. Read the controls available for your selected weapon to see the current values.
What are the best Smash the City slider values?
Choose values using repeated runs on your device and map. The creator’s description does not publish optimal values, slider limits or a cost formula.
How should I compare settings on mobile?
Keep the device, weapon and map the same, change one control, and record elapsed time, Coin gain and target visibility. Avoid attributing a result to the slider when other conditions also changed.
